How to Create Water Droplets in Photoshop

It’s been quite a while since my last Photoshop Tutorial guys :), anyway I spent my long holiday to write another tutorial, which is how to create water droplets in Photoshop.

I also included the photoshop action to create this water droplets effect, and there are two kinds of action for creating: bigger water droplets and the smaller one.

This tutorial is very easy for photoshop beginners, but actually there are also another ways of technique to create water droplets using Photoshop. The problem is sometime the water droplets won’t appear to be natural or realistic on the first attempt of applying some filter effect. Filter effects are would likely produce uniform artificially look of water droplets on an object surface. Therefore, as usual...you need to do the retouch to finish this effect.

Corner Design Photoshop Brushes - Part 2

I’m coming back now with another 3 sets of corner design photoshop brushes. These brushes have swirly curls, two of them are foliage style and the other one is kindda psychedelic to me.

The shapes were designed in half parts that consist alone as photoshop brushes, so it would be easier for you to customize them. Make a copy in a new layer and create the reflection of them by rotating and flipping, and then you can find interesting corner design ;). The result of these photoshop brushes reflection effect could be various, so I suggest you to give a bit of try.

If you are a new visitor to my blog, I suggest you to read my previous post, ( Corner Design Photoshop Brushes – Part 1 ).
Hope you like them :) …

Each of brush is categorized as medium in size (1223px – 1329px).

Collin James De Ruyck's Abstract Paintings

I always fascinate to abstract paintings. I found sort of well mixed medium of abstract paintings collection of Collin James De Ruyck , and I'm also amazed how he lined up the geometric shape and colors to create 3D texture effect. I should call it: "Decorative Abstract Paintings"

Somehow each of them can be part as an interior decoration. His abstract art works are able to bring a boring plan room to a very exciting room filed with great colors and style.

Here a short conversation about his artworks that might give you a clue about his paintings ;).

Collin James De Ruyck's Abstract Paintings

When did you first start painting?

I first started painting in 2003. It was after my x wife moved out and took all the furniture and I had nothing to look at buy bare walls. I was talking with a friend of mine who pushed my to start painting as he told me what I was looking for from art did not really exist, which is the style I currently use.

Who and what were some early influences?

Like I said in the last question, it was a good friend of mine named Rohn who helped me get started at a very tough time in my life.

Corner Design Photoshop Brushes - Part 1

I made 3 sets of corner design photoshop brushes. Actually the shapes were designed in half parts that consist alone as photoshop brushes. Make a copy in a new layer and create mirror FX of them by rotating and flipping, so then you can find interesting corner design ;). The result of these photoshop brushes mirror effect could be various, so I suggest you to give a bit of try.
It was inspired by Design Fruits Tasty Tattoos, which are more complicated in shape and design than mine. He he he, I don’t know if you’re going to like these, heck…I’ll accept all your positive and negative appreciation to all of my designs.
The reason I designed each of the brush in single half element is I want these photoshop brushes become easier to be redesigned by you. I always love to see everyone doing some experiment to my photoshop brushes collection…hey, please show them to me ;p
I want to appreciate your design also…
Hope you like my corner design photoshop brush sets this time… :{
Each of brush is categorized as medium in size (942px – 1246px).

Fantasy Floral Photoshop Brushes - Part 2

Talking about flowery style, and many experiments I’ve done to create foliage shape in Illustrator, so now I share them with you: my Fantasy Floral Photoshop Brushes – Part 2.

There are only 3 sets of photoshop brushes inside .ABR file…not much, but I’m sure you can use them as decorative corner element in your design, or as blending shape vector to the background. Do rotate things and add some style into it.
When I have a chance to design again, I‘ll be back with more simple photoshop corner brushes.
Hope you like them…

Each of brush is categorized as small in size (985px – 995px).

I have a new collection of Photoshop Brushes set, and this time I made floral or foliage vectors using Illustrator. These 4 sets of Fantasy Floral vectors were compiled in single ABR file. ;)

Each of brush is categorized as small in size (900px - 1024px).

My Design is Beautifully Ripped Off

I was shocked knowing that one of my Photoshop freebies being hijacked by some other Bloggers for their own benefit. Since this was my first experience, I’m getting intense to find out how to prevent this issue.

You can tell how your work of art becomes popular using site tracker tool. As I’ve been checking my stat regularly, I found that, one of my Photoshop freebies gets good attention from some reader segment. I used “Round Corner Photoshop Brushes” as anchor text for every link related and image alt. I didn’t mean to search down for hijacking items on my design. I went to Google to find out how my blog post rank result in “Round Corner Photoshop Brushes” keywords. Sadly but true, I found 5 sites doing copyright violation on my design. They simply erased my watermark tagline on the preview image, and replaced it with their own logo, as if they have created it by themselves. No link back or attribution definitely, and they provide re-self-hosted link to download the file.

Round Corner Square Photoshop Brushes

This is my first collection of Photoshop Brushes that I designed a month ago. I made only 7 set of Photoshop brushes. I think each of brush can be categorized as medium in size (1613px – 1977px).

How to Install Photoshop Brush Set

Photoshop Brushes usually available in huge size files. This is because some designer made high resolution brushes to get high quality for Printing Standard. The size of each brush can be range between 1500px – 2500px. You can imagine if a series of certain theme brush being compiled together in one file. I’m not talking about hundreds of kilobytes, be patient to download more than 10 megabytes .ABR file in archive folder.

Photoshop Brushes by default, saved in a specific file known as: .ABR file format.

How to create Swirly Curls in Illustrator

It’s been more than a week since my last tutorial article. Hope you would love this one ;)
Today’s tutorial is different than before. I want to share you an easy tutorial of how to create Swirls in Illustrator.

Decorative swirls are loved nowadays; people always use this style along with natural element into their design. I know that there are lots of tutorials which are sound similar with mine. Well the idea is to create swirly curls, but my technique would probably different than any others. The twirl effect result is having some hazy kind of curls, so I guess it would be interesting.

It was started when the local government decided to build 10 km Highway Bridge to connect the main island of East Java, Indonesia to a small island called Madura. According to one of the fishermen community member, they are now can hardly find fish and their income has been decreasing ever since. The sea environment was destroyed by the massive highway development.
